Department of Public Health Dentistry organises its Second Inperson Continuing Dental Education Program in “Current Perspectives in Oral Cancer Burden - An Impending Catastrophe”. The event is to be held on 19th of may 2022 between 9am to 3pm.
Three eminent speakers covering wide array of topics related to oral cancer and its current trends are invited for the day.
Dr.Jayakrishnan, an enterprising researcher and an academician, with an ardent interest in cancer prevention and control, From Trivandrum cancer control would be highlighting on Burden of oral cancer in India ; a candour of gospels.
Second speaker for the day: Dr.Sruthi Venkatachalam; a proficient Head and Neck Onco Surgeon, who also holds grants from Prestigious HDFC - CSR and IIT Hyderabad for her innovations and projects in health care has consent to enlighten the participants on Management of head and neck cancers:A tour d’horizon.
Dr.Republica Sridhar, A pioneer in palliative care and who also holds a 27 years of experience in Family medicine, Hospice and community care; would be talking on palliative care in cancer care: An Indian frame if reference. Following the 3 interactive lectures, a brain storming session with open panel discussion would be conducted for the participants.
