One of the most critical issues impeding cancer prevention and control today is the colossal gap in what we know, which could optimize preventive facets of oncology, translational possibilities, and seamless opportunities in day-to-day practice. This summit offered the immense potential of exploring and delving into the pandora of installing confidence within the community on cancer control and also motivating medical think tanks and other collaborative fraternities to implement shreds of evidence into practice. The prime objective of the gathering was 1) To disseminate evidence on cancer prevention and control and apply it to the live world settings; 2) To develop an action plan through deliberation on cancer prevention and control; further promulgate a declaration of the action plan of the network created through the summit “Trivandrum Declaration of Kerala Onco Summit`22”

The Summit was inaugurated by the Hon. Chief minister of Kerala, Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan and Hon'ble Governor Shri Arif Mohammed Khan gave the valedictory address at the Kerala Preventive Onco Summit 2022

Dr.Jishnu, from department of public health dentistry, had been invited as a guest speaker and an expert for devising an action plan. the event took place on august 4th and 5th 2022 and was organised by regional cancer centre, Thiruvananthapuram.
