The Saveetha Integrated Public Health and Management Summit (SIPHAMS) 3.0 was successfully conducted on 20th and 21st December 2024, marking a significant milestone in the field of public health and management. The event was organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, in collaboration with the Saveetha School of Management. This summit brought together a diverse range of experts, practitioners, and participants to engage in insightful discussions on the theme: "Strengthening Healthcare Systems - Through Integrated Training in Core Competencies."

The summit provided a platform for knowledge exchange, emphasizing the importance of integrating core competencies to build robust healthcare systems. It aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals working within healthcare and management sectors, addressing the challenges of modern healthcare and the need for strategic solutions. The event featured a mix of expert talks, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, highlighting best practices, innovations, and practical approaches in public health and management.

Through this successful event, SIPHAMS 3.0 contributed to fostering collaboration between public health and management professionals, aiming to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes on a broader scale.

The inauguration was held at the Decennial Hall, Saveetha Dental College, Chennai, Presided by the registrar, Deans, Associate Deans of the SIMATS family and by a wide spectrum of participants, including healthcare professionals, academics, and students. The conference aimed to highlight the importance of integrating public health strategies with effective management practices to overcome contemporary healthcare challenges. The summit featured a series of thought-provoking sessions by renowned speakers from diverse fields of healthcare and management. Topics ranged from financial planning in healthcare and sustainability innovations to healthcare operations and strategic planning. We were honoured to have distinguished speakers at the summit, including Dr.Ezhilan Naganathan who is a honourable Member of Legislative Assembly and a member in Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission. Our offline chief guests,include Dr. Arun Prasad sir who is a programme head for PG programme in Health Care Management in LIBA. Another guest lecture was given Mr. Prabhudoss who is a special consultant in Emergency and Disaster Management, Operations, Technology and Communications. Our online guest lectures were given by Dr.Ranjit Kumar Dehury who is currently at School of Management Studies in University of Hyderabad. Next chief guest was Mr. Vimal who works as a senior manager , Head and Learning and Development in Shradha University Hospital, and Mr. Ronald Simon who works as a general management officer (Quality and Safety) at Christian Medical College, Vellore.

The Saveetha Integrated Public Health and Management Summit (SIPHAMS) 3.0 2024 achieved great success in its objective to address critical health challenges and propose sustainable solutions, while leaving a lasting impact on both the attendees and the broader healthcare community. The summit's hybrid format, offering both offline and online modes, ensured inclusivity and enabled a wider participation from across the globe.

In addition to expert-led sessions, the event featured scientific presentations of original research and thematic posters that showcased innovative research by participants. These sessions provided an excellent platform for researchers to present their work and engage with peers, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The summit attracted over 160 registrants from diverse fields, including dental and MBA streams. The participation of students and professionals from various colleges enriched the conference, with presenters contributing innovative papers that added to the collective knowledge in public health and management. The conference not only served as a forum for sharing knowledge but also as a venue for networking and collaboration among stakeholders in these fields.

With a well-rounded agenda featuring distinguished speakers, SIPHAMS 2024 successfully addressed the key challenges facing healthcare systems today. The exchange of ideas and experiences was profound, ensuring that the summit made a significant contribution to the research community and beyond.
