Dental Public Health (DPH)

Hands on training and application based learning in 3 years ensures the post graduate gets trained adequately in applying the principles of DPH and also gets experienced in framing of oral health policy for a said population after collection of baseline data.

Research

The post graduates are given a free hand to choose any research topic, from simple descriptive epidemiology to multi centric trials and in vitro analysis. They are even encouraged to participate in various conferences and workshop to gain exposure and project their results. They are publications under reputed and indexed journals with the training period.

Preventive Dentistry

The whole speciality revolves around the principle “Prevention is Better than Cure”. The candidates get effectively trained in practicing the concepts; be it in a mass health awareness campaign or a chair side procedure like counselling, application od sealants/ topical fluorides
